We want you to love your handmade purchase. Our policy is designed to be fair to both you and the small-scale producers who craft your goods, in full alignment with Egyptian Consumer Protection
Law No. 181 of 2018.
The 14-Day Return Right
You have the right to return or exchange any product within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is in its original condition, unused, and with all
original packaging and tags
The 30-Day Defect Warranty
If a product has a manufacturing defect (excluding natural handmade variations), you have the right to return it within 30 days
for a full refund or exchange
Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)
Per Egyptian Law, returns are not accepted for Customized or Made-to-Order Goods
Hygiene-Sensitive Goods (e.g., earrings) if the seal is broken
* Clearance Items marked as "Final Sale."

Refunds are typically processed via the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after inspection.
Note: Shipping fees for "change of mind" returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Sawa for Economic Empowerment connects you with producers across Egypt. We work hard to ensure your items arrive safely and promptly while keeping our logistical footprint ethical.
1. Shipping Times
* Ready-made items: These are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days
* Made-to-order items: These require time to be crafted. Please check the specific product page for estimated production times. * Delivery window: Delivery times vary depending on your location in Egypt and our courier partners.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of the items. As an NGO-led initiative, we strive to keep these
costs as low as possible.
3. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is on its way, you will receive a notification (SMS or email) with a tracking number and the name of our delivery partner.
4. Delivery Issues
If your package arrives damaged, please document it with a photo and notify us through our Contact Page within 24 hours so we can resolve the issue with
the courier

* Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for most orders as specified at checkout
2. Currency
All prices are listed and processed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP). Prices include all applicable taxes and contribute to the economic empowerment of our artisan partners.
3. Payment Security
We do not store your financial details on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and processed through a PCI-compliant payment gateway to ensure your data stays safe.
4 . Order Confirmation
Your order is confirmed only once payment is successfully authorized or when you confirm a
